Sarah Gudbaur is a Pittsburgh-based violinist pursuing career in orchestral performance and teaching. She has performed with a number of orchestras including Wheeling Symphony, Youngstown Symphony Orchestra, Westmoreland Symphony Orchestra, and Butler County Orchestra. In 2019, Sarah was chosen to receive a fellowship at the National Orchestral Institute Festival at the University of Maryland where she performed and recorded with NAXOS.
Sarah has an interest in Baroque music and has appeared with chamber groups including Chatham Baroque and Duke’s Music on Baroque violin. She is also a member of the Latin American chamber group, Camerata 33.
In addition to her career in performance, Sarah is also a private violin and viola instructor. She teaches at David’s Music House in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania and has her own studio as well.
Sarah holds both Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees from Duquesne University where she studied with Charles and Rachel Stegeman.
