Meet the musicians


Andrew Ouellette

Andrew Ouellette is a pianist, composer, and educator. Originally from Hannibal, MO, Andrew has a Bachelor of Music degree in jazz performance from U.M.K.C, where he studied with Bobby Watson, Dan Thomas, Roger Wilder, Bram Wijnands, and John McIntyre, and he also has a Master of Business Administration with a focus in finance, also from U.M.K.C. Andrew accompanies classes for Kansas City Ballet’s dance residency program, R.O.A.D. He has been an accompanist for ballet classes at Kansas City Ballet School since 2015 and accompanies modern and ballet classes for UMKC’s Dance Department. Andrew enjoys a busy gigging schedule and has shared the stage with artists Roy Hargrove, Tivon Pennicott, Lonnie McFadden, Lisa Henry, Marilyn Maye, Matt Kane, the Sons of Brazil, and Hermon Mehari.
