Music Festival Education For College And High School Students

The Blanche Bryden Sunflower Music Festival Summer Institute is a week of intensive study in chamber music for college and high school students. Learn from master teachers and Sunflower Music Festival orchestra musicians.

Students perform in outreach facilities culminating with a final performance on the White Concert Hall stage.

About The Sunflower Music Festival

Sunflower Music Festival brings the world’s greatest musicians to Northeast Kansas to perform in 8 free concerts in June. Since its founding in 1987, the tradition of the Festival is excellence, cultivated selection by selection, instrument by instrument, year after year.

Everyone is invited to enjoy orchestra, chamber ensembles, and jazz music. The Festival is completely free and easy to attend at Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas.
